I will be brief. This product has many detailed reviews so I will just say this shave soap is the best I have come across. The lather, the scent and the lubrication are all first class. This will definitely be a repeat purchase for me. Try it and you will see.

Most of the soaps I have are less expensive than Tabac. I added this soap to another order on a whim. i remember opening the box and taking the lid off the bowl for the first time. The soap gave off a rich smelling scent that just wanted to be tried. When I did get to try it, my brush produced this rich, sweet smelling thick lather in what seemed to be very little time time. Enough adjectives! This is one great soap. Smells good and shaves even better. Get it!!

I am a wet shaver and I use a double edge safety blade. I have been wet shaving for about 4 months. I have tried a few soaps. tube creams, and countless products in a can. This soap is straight up the best you will use.
The scent is great although it goes not last after the shave. The scent can best be described as pure man. If you are a man you will be pleased with the scent. No matter how you whip it up it will be thick and creamy very fast.

I have not tried the product's performance. The smell is a cross between what an elderly man would smell like and a woman. I can't really get past it. If I were to get very creative, I could say it has a "tobacco" scent, but that's like Dr. Pepper saying it has 23 flavors. I may force myself to try it soon. If it works wonders, I'll be sure to update my review.

One of my first shaving soaps when I went "old school" using a safety razor and a badger hair brush for what used to be a daily chore. Tabac lathers real easily and provides a nice smooth shave. I for one enjoy the scent. It is a good masculine scent, but it doesn't linger for too long, so you could probably continue to use the soap if you weren't a huge fan of the scent. As I said this is was my first soap, and is a soap that will remain a part of my shave den until they stop making it (lets hope that never happens).
